Ampcontrol’s iMAC2 Controller is a programmable Control & Monitoring relay specifically designed for medium to long conveyor applications. The system is certified to be used in underground coal mines or in above ground conveyor applications. The system uses a patented protocol to monitor input & output devices which are installed down the length of the conveyor. Each device is powered from the signal line and has a unique address that can be monitored by an external control system i.e. PLC or SCADA. The Controller is programmable allowing the user to have flexibility on how the installation is monitored and/or displayed on the LCD display. The iMAC2 Controller can also be used for other applications like: Environmental Monitoring, Emergency Shut-down Systems, Condition Monitoring etc.
